Michael Tolbert is an author of several works of fiction. His work rejects a mundane hyperrealism in favor of a post-mechanical understanding of the Universe called hydro-realism. Themes such as retro-causality, quantum superposition, time reversal, and parallel worlds are explored in bizarre, comical, nightmarish settings of squalor and human degradation. Michael graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a B.A. in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature.
